So Much to do in Ft. Myers

Ft. Myers tries very hard to attract tourists. Once a month is music night. There are bands on every corner. Families listen to the music and stroll the streets sipping beer and wine. This young man, Michael, is 15 years old and is a fantastic guitar player and singer.

Here in a 50's band, great Elvis and Johnny Cash.

C Dock reunion. Where are Sue and Jack?

Beautifully decorated city.

Bob and Carolyn flew home for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Looking forward to their return in January.

C Dock friend Claudia saying Hello.

Four times a year, there is bike nite. Thousands of bikers cruise the streets of Ft. Myers.

The International Sand Sculpting Contest took place on Ft. Myers Beach. Sculptors from all over the world attended. You can't believe how beautiful the sculptures were.

After the sculptures are completed, the sculptors spray them with water mixed with Elmers glue which keep them together.

This is my favorite, the Encounter. The elephant's skin looked so real, and there is a laced veil on the young girl.

Tom and I found a great deal on a hotel from Priceline. Spent 2 nites in Sarasota. Siesta Key is considered one of the top 10 beaches in the world. The sand is made from Ignious Rock from the Appalachian Mountains. Looks and feels like fine sugar. No rocks or shells.
