January, 2011 in Ft. Myers

 January in Ft. Myers passed quickly but was a lot of fun. Here are the O'Leary's and us at a piano bar at the Veranda Hotel.,

Every Friday nite, there is entertainment at the Patio de Leon, a courtyard, in downtown Ft. Myers.

Tom and I enjoyed watching the Raven's in playoff games at a local bar. Leigh and Murray, from home, winter near Ft. Myers.

 

Watching the second playoff game with the O'Leary's and John and Leslie Hill. John and Leslie have a lovely condo near Naples where we had a fantastic dinner and viewed the game. The Hill's dock their boat on our pier in Severna Park.

The O'Leary's decided to travel to the East Coast to West Palm Beach. We will join them for the journey home in April.

 Every Thursday, there is a Farmer's Market in downtown Ft. Myers. The fruits and veggies are the best.

We spent a few few days with Liz and Dan who have a winter house near Tampa. We enjoyed sitting on their Lanai, sipping a drink while overlooking their pool, which overlooks their boat. Great house Dan and Liz.
